This week's plan is based on us finishing the movie on Monday. If that doesn't happen, we will have to make adjustments!

*finish movie
*review culture
possible homework: culture review worksheet (if we don't get to it in class)
Tuesday:

*review/work with preterite vs. imperfect; specifically imperfect progressive (p. 146 of text) & ir + a + infinitive (p. 58 of text) in the imperfect
homework: Find a photo on the internet or of your own. Make sure there is lots of action going on in the photo. Write at least 5 sentences using both the imperfect progressive and ir + a + infinitive WITH the preterite.
Wednesday:
*go over homework
*review/work with preterite vs. imperfect; specifically irregulars and those verbs which change meaning depending on tense (p. 160 text)

Thursday:
more work with irregulars and meaning changers in the preterite
homework: study
Friday:
review and take QUIZ on irregular preterites and verbs which change meaning depending on tense
homework: worksheets on preterite vs. imperfect use
Heads Up: Your final project for the quarter will be to write a fairytale/children's story from the perspective of a minor character, or from the perspective of the bad guy. If you've ever read The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, that's the idea. Or, Cinderella from the point of view of one of the step sisters, for example. You can get started now! We will be adding vocabulary that goes with this idea as a class, but you may want to get started now and go over a rough draft with me or an honor society student.
Vocabulary coming up is: Chapter 4, both sections and Chapter 9, first section.
